My first vacation was with Mom, Gramma, Aunt Katie and Crissy to visit family in Utah and Idaho. I went to the airport and had my first plane ride . . .

Nothing better than a little caffeine to jump start me for a 3 1/2 hr plane ride.

When we got to Salt Lake City, we drove up to my Uncle Ted and Aunt Jane’s cabin in Southern Idaho.

I got to see the largest fish ever to exist in a pond, I think it is because my Uncle Ted keeps feeding them dog food. My cousin Crissy caught one using a net.

My Uncle Ted taught me a lot about pitching.

Come on Mom, quit taking pictures and feed me!!

Then we went back to South Jordan Utah and I got to meet my Uncle Wally and Aunt Pauline’s family. I have lots of cousins, and Grace is closest to me in age. She is a little bit older, but I am a little bit bigger.

Aunt Katie, Aunt Pauline, Gramma, Parker, Me, Mom, Grace, Teddy, Hope and Crazy Uncle Wally (come on Uncle Wally, put the basketball down and grab a baseball).

Then we went to my cousins Kenny, Tammy, and Luke’s house way up in the mountains overlooking Salt Lake City and Provo.

Ahhhh! Home sweet home (even if it is 104 outside).

Thanks to everyone for a wonderful vacation, it was great meeting everyone. And for those who are concerned- I have slept much better once I got home!!

A busy weekend indeed!!

I discovered that I love to stand up in the tub.

My grandparents from Hallettsville came to see. Granddad Albert pushed me in the swing until I fell asleep.

It took a while . . .

We had a good visit. I hope I didn’t send them home too tired.

Then I got to go “swimming” in my pool. It was great fun, except that my brothers (the dog ones) bark loud and think that my pool is their big water bowl.

I stole the ball from Jackson . . .

but I threw it back to him.

Then it is back to my swing to dry off.

Learning to be musical, that would be an absolute first in my immediate family.

Hello Gramma Christy.

Taking a bath in the sink is pretty fun. I can reach the faucet and turn the water off and on.

Good thing Mom put me on the side where I can only turn on the cold water.

I figured out how running water works. That is pretty cool.

What? Is this not a toy?

Now that I am mobile, I keep myself entertained. One of my favorite things to do is play in my room.

I love to pull myself up now. I get really excited when I do that and look for my Mom or Dad to make sure that someone was watching.

I don’t feel too good today, but my Mom told me that I am the cutest sick kid ever.

I like to feed myself.

My brothers like it when I feed myself too. They always hope that maybe I will drop a few pieces for them.

I am now 9 mos. I know how to crawl- on all fours and military style. I think I like crawling on all fours the best, but if I need to get somewhere quick, belly crawling it is.

I am home sick today, can you tell?

I am starting to pull up too. Watch out mom and dad!!

Its early, I just woke up, I am a little bit slow. Is there something on my face?

I am teething. I have my four top teeth coming in all at once. It hasn’t slowed me down one bit though.

Just hangin out with my dad, playing with this singing tool bench. Yea . . . life is good.

I am really close to crawling. Mom and Dad had better get the outlet covers and move all the breakables. (Yes I am a little bit fussy, occassionally this happens!)

My mom and dad bought me this “johnny jumper” and I love it!!
