My First Thanksgiving

sweet-potatoes-2

My first time eating sweet potatoes. These are much better than green beans.

sweet-potatoes1

My Gramma Christy kept feeding them to me and I kept eating them because I was scared that they would switch over to those green beans again.

kisses

Then I gave Gramma Christy kisses.

nap

Then I took my Thanksgiving nap. Man, if sweet potatoes make me this tired, what is going to happen when I get to eat turkey next year?

walker

I got to play in a walker that my Aunt Diane got me. Who knew you got presents for Thanksgiving?!?

albert

I got to hang out with Grandpa Albert.

chris-and-diane

This picture was taken right before I puked all over Uncle Chris. But he was a lineman in high school, so he was okay about it.

elaine

This is my Aunt Elaine. I can’t remember if I puked on her or not, but chances are good that I probably did.

family

And this is my family that I got to spend my first Thanksgiving with. Hope everyone had as good of a Thanksgiving as I did.

Green Beans!!

Turns out that when Mom was pregnant with me, she ate a lot of green beans. So, it was only fitting for my first vegetable that she feeds me (drum roll please) . . . green beans!!

gb1

And I am not sure if I like them. I know I like eating with a spoon, but that green stuff on it . . . kinda weird.

gb2

I think I spit more of it out than I keep in my mouth.

gb4

You see me smiling so you probably think I love green beans, but the truth is, I just love to smile.

All done.

A couple of days in the life of Mikey!!

11

Getting ready to go out to eat dinner. It is pretty cold outside, especially for Texas, so I am sporting my shark sweater.

21

Home from my first trip to Houston to look at reception sites for my Aunt Melissa’s wedding. I am quite exhausted. My great Bamma bought me this dog toy and I really love it. Haven’t put it down all day, even to sleep.

My first time wearing overalls. Turns out that I look pretty damn good in them.

Mom gives me kisses . . .

So I give her kisses too!!

I am really gettin the hang of eatin with a spoon.

Food all over my face. This is pretty fun!!

Now it is play time. My Gramma Christy and Bamma got me these musical turtles and I have to admit that I am mesmerized by them. I love to listen to music.

Little Rookie

dsc0079611

This outfit traveled a loooong way for me to wear it. It came to me from my Uncle Wally and Aunt Pauline in Utah. Wait a second . . . Mom forgot my hat.

Seems that I don’t mind wearing hats at all. In fact, maybe I like to wear hats.

It is pretty cool that this “little rookie” outfit has the number 35. That is the number my dad wore when he played baseball in college.

My Fantastic Brothers!!

frankie2

This is my big brother Frankie. My parents adopted Frank from the great state of Kentucky through a rat terrier rescue organization. Frank is super sweet and loves me very much. He always wants to lay by me and hates it when I cry.

doods2

This is my brother Jackson. He is skinny like me. He gets nervous around new people and can oftentimes be found hiding under Mom and Dad’s bed. Don’t believe for a second though that Jack is a complete wuss. He has already had two knee surgeries to repair ligaments in each of his knees (this was before I was born, but Jack has the scars to prove it).

sam2

This is my brother Sam (and Jackson again). Sam was the first brother Mom and Dad adopted shortly after they were married. Sam is a sweet brother, is very lazy and spends all his time sleeping in Mom and Dad’s bed.

Another Aggie Game Day!!

It is Aggie Game Day!! The Ags are playing Colorado, and though it has been a tough season, I am still a loyal fan. My dad and me are heading up to Kyle field to tailgate with some of the other Aggie faithful. I am sporting some Aggie gear and my boots.

Of course Mom is going to take pictures, but for some reasons my brothers are very interested in what I am wearing and they keep getting in the way. On the left is my big brother Frankie and on the right is my brother Jackson. I also have a brother named Sam, but he is much to lazy to get off of the couch to come in here and see what is going on.

Finally they get the brothers contained and can take my picture. I am ready to go!! Go Aggies go, BTHO Colorado!!

My First Halloween!!

For my first Halloween . . .

I had dress up day at daycare.

Hat day!!

Camo day!!

And for Halloween day . . .

I love Mummy.

I spent Halloween night passing out candy to neighborhood kids.

We had a lot of candy to pass out.

But then I thought, maybe I want to keep all this candy for me.

I was a pretty good sport for about an hour.

Pictures with Mom and Dad!! And a few smiles for the early trick-or-treaters. I even spent time examining my new Halloween socks.

But, then I got tired.

So I fell asleep in Mom’s arms. Children came running up and screaming “trick-or-treat,” but I never woke up . . . until I got hungry.

So I had a mild mental meltdown while my parents scrambled for the bottle to feed me.

And after my second dinner (or maybe my third), I decided I was content and could continue to pass out candy.

Then I had to come in and take my bath. Mom and Dad refused to give me candy, so I decided to suck on my arm for a while.

I just love baths. I am just not a big fan of having to get out of the tub and get dressed.

Before bed I always like to play in my bouncer. I am trying so hard to grab that rabbit, but I just can’t quite reach it. If you look at my eyes though, you can see my intensity.

I am getting tired, yet Mom still has the camera out. Maybe she will put it down and feed me so that I can finally go to bed!!
